1. What is Vinyl or PVC?
Vinyl or PVC is a better material
than Wood in most applications. It is a plastic. Vinyl siding and vinyl windows
are some common examples of vinyl products made from very similar formulas.
2.Why buy PVC products?
You never have to paint the
PVC products. It withstands mildew, and is easily cleaned with soap and water.
3.Will PVC burn?
PVC will burn when a source of fire is
present. Un-like wood, when the source of the fire is removed, the PVC will not
burn, it is self-extinguishing
4. Is PVC more expensive than
Wood?
Initially the product is more expensive than wood, however
when you consider that PVC does not splinter, does not need painting, and will
last many years beyond wood then the cost is much less in both time and money.
