| Over the past thirty
five years, Otto V. Jackson has been an inventor and patent holder of numerous
mechanical, chemical and medical devices. He is also veteran motorcyclist. In
May of 1993 a friend of Otto's hit a deer while riding a motorcycle and was killed.
Less than a week later, Otto hit a deer with his car. After he got his car out
of the body shop, he installed a conventional deer whistle, and hit another deer

| Being a man of action, Otto decided
to begin the process of creating the Hornet®. Deer kill more people than any
other animal and are responsible for more personal injury and property damage
than any other animal in the U.S. Otto states " the technology of the Hornet® has proven to reduce the risk of deer vehicle accidents by more than 70%" The Hornet® was tested on deer accident-prone police and emergency vehicles over a 3-year period with more than 6 million proven accident-free miles before it was brought to market. | ![]() |
